The Z1 truss is placed inside the payload canister in the SSPF

  • Description: The Integrated Truss Structure Z1 disappears inside the payload canister after being lowered by the overhead crane in the Space Station Processing Facility. Once it is secured inside, the truss will be transported to Launch Pad 39A. It is part of the payload on mission STS-92 scheduled to lift off Oct. 5, 2000.
