The Z1 truss moves to payload canister in the SSPF

  • Description: Suspended by an overhead crane in the Space Station Processing Facility, the Integrated Truss Structure Z1 is lowered toward the open doors of the payload canister below. After secured inside, the truss will be transported to Launch Pad 39A. It is part of the payload on mission STS-92 scheduled to lift off Oct. 5, 2000.
