The Z1 truss moves to payload canister in the SSPF

  • Description: In the Space Station Processing Facility, the Integrated Truss Structure Z1, suspended from an overhead crane, is rotated before being placed inside the payload canister below it. The truss will then be transported to Launch Pad 39A. It is part of the payload on mission STS-92 scheduled to lift off Oct. 5, 2000.
