  • Description: Looking relaxed and ready for their trip into space, the five STS-80 astronauts depart the Operations and Checkout Building. Leading the way are Commander Kenneth D. Cockrell (front right) and Pilot Kent V. Rominger (front left); behind them are (from left) Mission Specialists Tamara E. Jernigan, Story Musgrave and Thomas D. Jones. A 25-minute ride in the Astrovan will take the flight crew to Launch Pad 39B, where the Space Shuttle Columbia awaits liftoff on Mission STS-80 during a two-and-a-half hour window opening at 2:53 p.m. EST, Nov. 19.
