  • Description: STS-80 Commander Kenneth D. Cockrell finishes donning his launch/entry suit in the Operations and Checkout Building with assistance from a suit technician. STS-80 will be Cockrell's third spaceflight, his first as commander. He and four crew members will shortly depart the O&C and head for Launch Pad 39B, where the Space Shuttle Columbia awaits liftoff during a two-and- a-half hour window opening at 2:53 p.m. EST, Nov. 19.
