  • Description: STS-80 Mission Specialist Thomas D. Jones finishes donning his launch/entry suit in the Operations and Checkout Building with assistance from a suit technician. Jones is flying in space for the third time, and will participate in two space walks on STS-80 to continue testing tools and techniques for International Space Station construction. He and four crew members will shortly depart the O&C and head for Launch Pad 39B, where the Space Shuttle Columbia awaits liftoff during a two-and-a-half hour window opening at 2:53 p.m. EST, Nov. 19.
