  • Description: A T-38 parked at KSC's Shuttle Landing Facility is profiled against the brilliant twilight sky. The five astronauts assigned to Space Shuttle Mission STS-80 arrived from Houston at around 6:30 p.m.: Mission Commander Kenneth D. Cockrell; Pilot Kent V. Rominger; and Mission Specialists Tamara E. Jernigan, Thomas D. Jones and Story Musgrave headed for the crew quarters in the Operations and Checkout Building. Tomorrow, Nov. 12, the launch countdown will begin at 1 p.m. with the countdown clock set at T- 43 hours. The Space Shuttle Columbia is scheduled for liftoff from Launch Pad 39B at 2:50 p.m. EST, Nov. 15.
