The astronauts' late-night arrival allows them to maintain the shift in their waking and sleeping hours, altered in preparation for their upcoming spaceflight. The Space Shuttle Atlantis is scheduled to lift off on STS-76 around 3:35 a.m. EST, March 21, with one of the primary mission objectives being the third docking between the U.S. Shuttle and the Russian Space Station Mir.
