Description:
The Space Shuttle Endeavour completes the slow trip to Launch Pad 39B. The approximately six-to-eight hour journey from the Vehicle Assembly Building began shortly before 7 a.m. Once atop the pad hardstand, the protective Rotating Service Structure will be moved in place around the vehicle. Endeavour is being readied to kick off the 1996 Shuttle launch schedule with a January 11 liftoff on Mission STS-72.
