Description:
The Space Shuttle Columbia nears the top of the concrete hardstand at Launch Pad 39B during its rollout August 28, 1995 aboard a crawler- transporter in preparation for the STS-73 mission. The primary payload for the mission, the United States Microgravity Laboratory-2 (USML-2) has already been installed into Columbia's payload bay. During the 16-day mission, the seven member crew will conduct a series of 18 USML-2 microgravity research experiments in the field of physics, combustion science, materials science and biotechnology.
