  • Description: STS-71 Mission Specialist Gregory J. Harbaugh addresses members of the news media gathered to greet the flight crew following their arrival at the KSC Shuttle Landing Facility. Harbaugh is assigned as the flight engineer on STS-71, which will feature the first docking between the U.S. Space Shuttle and the Russian Space Station Mir. Liftoff of the Space Shuttle Atlantis is scheduled during a seven-minute window opening at 5:08 p.m. EDT, June 23. STS-71 also will be the 100th U.S. human space launch conducted from Florida's Cape.
