The Space Shuttle Columbia lifts off from Launch Pad 39A on July 8, 1994 at 12:43 p.m. EDT to begin the 14-day STS-65/Internatinal Microgravity Laboratory-2 (IML-2) mission. The mission countdown clock also can be seen, giving the time into the mission after liftoff. The STS-65 mission is scheduled to end with a landing at KSC's Shuttle Landing Facility.{end}
