  • Description: The Titan/Centaur-6 (TC-6) launch vehicle was moved to Launch Complex 41 where it will undergo checkout procedures leading up to the Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test scheduled for February 15. Two Mariner Jupiter-Saturn (MJS) launches are scheduled ten days apart in August of this year and TC-6 will launch the second spacecraft. Both MJS spacecraft will be instrumented to obtain data on the environments and atmospheres of Jupiter and Saturn.
