  • Description: This lunar diorama is among the new attractions taking shape at the nation's Spaceport. This lunar scene, located in the Flight Crew Training Building where Apollo astronauts trained for their journeys to the Moon, will soon be completed and become part of the guided bus tours of KSC and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The lunar module is not a model but real flight hardware. Also visible in the scene are ""astronauts"" and the instruments of an Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package which relay scientific information back from the Moon.
