  • Description: Soviet Cosmonauts Aleksey Leonov [left] and Valeriy Kubasov look into the backup Apollo Soyuz Test Project Docking Module. During their visit to the Spaceport, the cosmonauts, joined by their American crewmen for the mission, inspected facilities and equipment to be used for the mid-July join space mission. The prime Docking Module, identical to the one pictured, will serve as the link between the American Apollo and Soviet Soyuz spacecraft.
