Description:
The Apollo 17 space vehicle is shown on Launch Complex 39-A. Apollo 17, the final Lunar landing mission of the Apollo Program is scheduled for launch from the Kennedy Space Center no earlier than December 6. The planned landing site is a combination of mountainous highlands and a lowland valley region of the Moon designated Taurus-Littrow. Coordinates are 20 degrees-09' N. Latitude and 30 degrees-44' E. Longitude.
